Golden Chair... get it.. get it?

El lunes mi compa el Thiret me dijo: "Vente por una silla para que la pintes, se van a exponer en algunas galerías o algo así". Ese día no pude pero el martes fuí por ella después del trabajo. Al llegar ahí cual va siendo mi sorpresa cuando me dicen que la silla debe estar terminada para el viernes antes de las 4 de la tarde (debí sospecharlo, pues cuando se trata de thiret, las cosas siempre son para "ayer"). Así que me apresuré a comenzar, en contra de todo pronóstico logré terminar 45 minutos antes de la hora de entrega, aquí está el resultado.

This last monday my bud Thiret said to me: "Come here n grab a chair so you can paint it, its gonna be displayed in some galleries or something". That day I couldnt go, but I went on tuesday after work. When I arrived there, imagine my surprise when Im told that the chair has to be done and delivered by friday at 4 in the afternoon ( I should 've suspected it since whenever anything is got to do with Thiret is always "due for yesterday"). So I hurried up and started, against all odds I managed to finish it 45 minutes before deadline, so here is the result.

Durante una hora libre en el trabajo hice esto en una hoja de papel con un bolígrafo negro, lo escanee y en photoshop le subí el contraste.

During a spare hour at work i did this on a piece of paper with a common black ballpoint pen, scanned it and gave it more contrast with photoshop.

SAGRADO CORAZOMBIE!!!

Despues de 2 meses de estira y afloja... Terminé! es por mucho el trabajo al cual le hé dedicado mas tiempo y esfuerzo, la técnica es pastel seco sobre papel canson, primero se hace el trazo con carbonsillo, después una grisalla utilizando solo el color negro (como pueden ver abajo) y despues se le da color POR DOS MESES!!! jaja, no, la verdad es que en ratos lo dejaba por que comenzaba a frustrarme y a odiarlo. ¡Pero aquí está por fin! y en visperas de las mejores fechas del año:
Halloween y Dia de Muertos! (deberíamos de darnos regalos en estas fechas!).

Sé que habrá por ahi uno que otro cristiano o católico que se sentirá un poquito ofendido con esto y solo quiero decirles : JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA... gracias.

After 2 months of strugle... Its Done! is by far thee work i ve dedicated the most time and effort on, the technique is chalk over canson paper. 1st u do the outlining with a piece of coal, then u make a grayscale with the black chalk (as u can see at the bottom) and colour it FOR TWO MONTHS!!! haha, no, actually i left it alone a couple of times cuz i got frustrated and started to hate it. But here it is finally! and so close to the best holidays of the year: Halloween and The day of the dead! (we should totally give eachother presents on this days).

I know there will be a couple of christians or catholics that will get a tinsy winsy offended by it, and i just wanna say: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.... thank u.

SAGRADO CORAZOMBIE (GRISALLA)

Antes de poner color en este decidí fotografiarlo, pues siento que por sí solo y sin color tiene algo de personalidad, es un ente diferente al que será al tener color.

Este es para mí el punto álgido de mi expresión hasta ahora, espero poder superlarlo en el futuro, engloba mi sentido iconoclasta y mi deseo contestatario al tiempo que en su pretención de humor negro espero hará levantar un par de cejas.

En américa latina la figura del cristo es un dogma gráfico, es figura de esperanza amor y nuevo comienzo. La percepción que tengo de la iglesia católica en latinoamérica es represión, intolerancia violencia moral, por esta razón represento su figura principal como un cadaver putrefacto y sombrío... además me encantan los zombies!

Before adding colour into this one, i decided to photograph it, cuz i feel that it is a being on its own before the colour.

This is for me, the highest point of my expression so far, I hope I can do better in the future, It includes all my contestatary desire and at the same time, in its dark humor pretention, I hope it will be frown upon.

In Latinamerica, the figure of the christ is a graphic dogma, It represents hope, love and a new beggining. However, My perception of The catholic church in Latinamerica is one of repression, intolerance and moral violence, and for this reason, I represent its main figure as a shady, rotting corpse... plus I Love Zombies!

APRENDÍZ DE TATUADOR (¿Quien se deja?)

Hace ya casi 2 meses por fín ahorré un el dinero suficiente como para comprarme mi kit mialegria de aprendiz de tatuador (por lo cual debo agradecer enormemente a Manuel, el infame "master" por todas las atenciones, la paciencia y paros, pues sin él esto SI hubiera sido posible PERO MAS CARO y probablemente no tan bien, jeje. Muchas gracias por todo carnal).

No he podido practicar todo lo que quisiera, pero han sido un par de meses ajetreados y llenos de cosas que hacer, pero en fín, he tratado de practicar cuanto he podido en toronjas y una papaya, la cual odio, así que fué especialmente divertido "mutilarla". en breve haré el brinco a comenzar a rayar seres vivos y comenzar a destruir vidas, pero en fin, el que se anime, lo hago gratis.

Pues nuevamente con la ayuda del Charlie (link a la derecha) les dejo aquí algunas de las víctimas frutales de mi intento de comenzar a rayar permanente seres vivos. La composicion de todas las fotos fué idea de él, obviamente. espero seguir dandole hasta ser bueno.

Almost 2 months ago now I finally saved enough money to buy my 1st Tattooing Begginers Kit, (BTW Big thanx to the Infamous "Master" for all the atentions, the patience and the overall help, cuz whitout him this COULD have happened but WAY MORE EXPENSIVE and not as good, hehe. So Thnx for everything Bro).

I haven't been able to practice as much as i would like to, but this have been a couple of hectic months filled with stuff to do, but anyways, I have been trying to practice every chance i get on grapefruits and a papaya, which i hate so its been fun mutilating it. soon enough I 'll do the crossover to start tattooing living things and destroy lifes, but anyways, whoever is up to it, I' ll do it for free.

Well again with Charlie's help (link to the right) i leave U here some of the fruity victims of my attempt to start permanently marking live beigns. The composition of the Photos was all his idea, obviously. I hope I can still do it until i get good at it.

STILL LEARNING (Para tía Lily)

Bueno, esta foto fué tomada por mi buen compa y fotógrafo chido guan Carlos Castañeda (pueden checar sus trabajos en el link de su blog aqui a la derecha). La pintura que se puede observar es el ultimo ejercicio al pastel (seguiré experimentando con la técnica, pero ahora con mis ideas). Personalmente no megusto como quedó, pero de alguna manera sirvió de catarsis y es para mi tia Lily, una gran influencia en mi vida y una de las primeras personas que me hizo interesarme en el arte y la cultura, y a ella le gustan mucho las flores así que aquí esta.
Ah si, por si se preguntaban el guey detras de la pintura soy yo... si no pues igual sigo siendo yo.

The painting U r watching is the latest and maybe last exercise of this technique (I m still experimenting with it but with my own ideas). I personally hated it, but it was cathartic and is for my aunty Lily, a big influence in my life and one of the 1st people who made me interested in art and culture, and she likes flowers so there it is...

AL BUSCAR EL MODELO PARA MI TERCER EJERCICIO "AL PASTEL" TOMÉ UN LIBRO DE REMBRANT Y ENCONTRÉ UN VIEJO BARBÓN. ME GUSTO Y COMENCÉ A PINTARLO, DESPUES ME DIJERON QUE ES SN JOSÉ. PUES AQUÍ ESTA MI ARTE SACRO INVOLUNTARIO. JA.

LA MANERA EN QUE SE REALIZA ESTO ES TRAZANDO CON CARBONSILLO, LUEGO SE HACE UNA "GRISALLA" LA CUAL CONSISTE EN HACER LA PINTURA EN ESCALA DE GRISES UTILIZANDO SOLO EL COLOR NEGRO Y ESFUMANDO. AL FINAL SE LE APLICA COLOR. ARRIBA SE PUEDE VER PARTE DEL PROCESO. N'JOY.

PIDELE EL MILAGRITO... SAGRADO CORA(ZOMBIE)

Cristo murió y resusitó al tercer día... ZOMBIE!!! Tiene mas de 2000 años vivo despues de su muerte... ZOMBIE!!! Convierte en seres descerebrados y sin voluntad propia a millones de personas al entrar en contacto con el... ZOMBIE!!! Al ser convertido al "cristianismo" comes de su carne y bebes de su sangre... ZOMBIEEEEEE!!!

Mantengo el mismo estilo para este boceto, pero ahora cambié de lapicera por una GraphGear 500 de Pentel .5, entintado con un Pigment liner 0.05 de Staedtler y con 2 rotuladores AD Marker super black y life red.

este boceto precede a una pintura al pastel que estoy realizando de este famosísimo personaje visto de una manera literal. WATCH OUT!

ANULACIÓN, LA ÚNICA SOLUCIÓN.

No creo en los Diputados ni en los Senadores.
Para volver a creer en esta democracia representativa, YO ciudadano exijo por lo menos:

El primer requisito para creer en este sistema de representación es que los diputados y senadores se bajen el sueldo por lo menos un 50%
Si pueden adelantarse vacaciones y aprobarse aguinaldazos, creo que si pueden hacer una extraordinaria para aprobar algo que no está a discusión.

El segundo requisito es que se eliminen las candidaturas plurinominales.
Queremos que nos gobierne aquel por quien votamos, no el que al partido se le antoje.

El tercer requisito es que se cancelen sus seguros de gastos médicos. Que nuestros trabajadores en el Estado vayan al ISSSTE, que es gratuito, y si no les gusta, que paguen su doctor particular con su sueldo y/o que se pongan a trabajar para arreglar el ISSSTE.

El cuarto requisito es que ni el IFE ni ningún partido anuncien nada en ninguna televisora durante todo este proceso electoral y que ningún comentarista ni "comunicador" intente manipular mi tendencia al voto o mi derecho a la anulación de éste e incluso mi derecho a la abstención. Y así ya no se gastan recursos en estarse peleando entre el IFE y las televisoras.

Estos son un par de bocetos a lapiz entintados con rotuladores Super Black y Life Red. Despues pasados por photoshop para darles cierto toque. Me gustan por que son sencillos, rápidos y a la vez dramáticos. ambos estan hechos en menos de media hora.

En unos días subiré un par de trabajos mas elaborados realizados con pastel seco, típicos de estudiante de pintura. JO.
